Lou Merloni, Wally & Joe Bermudez in the House for Samaritans

Wally joined Red Sox alum “sweet Lou” Merloni to Make Noise at the House of Blues last night. (actually two nights ago since it is after midnight).  Around a thousand high school and college age kids showed up to hear  remix sensation Joe Bermudez. I wish I could have been there…I could have showed off the moves I have been practicing in my spare time..tail shaking is my thing.  The gathering helped to raise the roof, raise funds…and raise awareness about the serious problem of depression and suicide among young people.  Along with TV, radio and print…it was  a social media extravaganza of Twitter, Facebook, texts…and  some old school e-mail. Maybe we need an app.  I hope you all keep the support going so that we can hit one out of the park this year…thank you Lou for helping Samaritans hit it over the Green Monster, over Lansdowne Street, and through the roof of House of Blues (oops metaphor gone wild).  I will stop before i take it too far. I know, too late.   More pics and stories on the way…

better go…I have to go out and check out the snow…finally it is real winter!

thanks for reading,

Fenway the Dog
